Maher to Moderate “Upskilling in the Age of AI” webcast

AHC President & CEO, Rick Maher, will be moderating “Upskilling Your Workforce for the Age of AI” on Thursday, March 28 for the National Association of State Workforce Agency (NASWA) and InnovateUS, a provider of free innovation and problem-solving training for the public sector.
The session is part of NASWA’s Workforce Information Technology Support Center’s “Mastering dX” monthly webinar series and will feature expert panelists Beth Simone Noveck and Seth Harris of InnovateUS. Beth is the Director of The Governance Lab and The Burnes Center for Social Change at Northeastern University and the Director of InnovateUS at the Center. Seth is a Senior Fellow at the The Burnes Center and a former top labor advisor to President Biden and Deputy Director of the White House's National Economic Council.
The interactive webcast will focus on helping workforce development system leaders better understand the emerging technology and how it can be employed to improve system productivity and value for the customer. Beth will discuss her recent testimony in Congress and share her insights on leveraging the power of AI. Additionally, Beth and Seth will provide information on The Burnes Center's offerings that can assist system leaders in preparing their workforce for the safe and effective use of AI.
The Mastering dX Series continues WITSC’s work to accelerate digital transformation in service delivery within the Nation’s workforce development system. Maher has been a part of the WITSC Team supporting digital innovation in government, serving as part of their expert instructor staff focused on building leadership skills in digital innovation. “WITSC is leading this effort to scale digital innovation in workforce service delivery, and we are thrilled to be a part of that,” says Maher. “This is important work and we’re beginning to see leaders breaking through and finding new ways to improve both the customer experience and workforce productivity.”
